As
experts in asphalt Maintenance and Rehabilitation
processes, Allied Blacktop’s first step is to assess asphalt conditions
and determine if the asphalt needs a maintenance correction to extend
the useful life of the asphalt, or a rehabilitation correction to
improve the structure of the asphalt. If the condition of the asphalt
requires routine maintenance, Allied can perform any of the following
processes.
 *An Overlay is both a maintenance and rehabilitation correction. It extends the life of the underlying
asphalt and also improves the asphalt’s structure. An asphalt overlay is required when it’s too late to
patch and seal, but too soon to perform a complete reconstruction. In other words, removing and
replacing the entire asphalt surface.
Overlays are less expensive than reconstruction—they require less preparation time AND less asphalt to achieve the same result.  |
